Overview

Honos is a high-end fashion brand concept I've developed, inspired by the strength and elegance of medieval attire, reimagined for the modern world. Sleek silhouettes and clean lines are infused with subtle historical details, creating a collection that is both timeless and undeniably contemporary.

Deliverables

To fully immerse viewers in the Honos brand experience and showcase the inaugural collection, I developed a range of media and established the brand's core identity.

Style Guide

Prior to starting any design work, I developed a style guide for Honos to establish a consistent foundation for all branding elements.

Instagram Ads

My inspiration came from contemporary streetwear brands and their use of textured, minimalist backgrounds that subtly highlight key garment details.

Posters

The poster designs intentionally obscured certain garment details, piquing viewers' curiosity and encouraging them to seek out the Honos brand.

Billboards

Designed for display in Times Square, the billboards emphasize clear silhouettes and high visibility to capture the attention of a large audience.

Home Page

Drawing inspiration from established fashion brands while maintaining Honos' minimalist aesthetic, I designed a homepage that effectively showcases the inaugural collection.

Conclusion

This project was a thoroughly enjoyable creative outlet, allowing me to translate my vision for Honos into tangible designs. It was a rewarding experience to see the brand come to life and establish a distinct visual identity.

Through this process, I gained valuable insights into the strengths of different design tools. While Adobe programs offer greater depth and control for image editing and manipulation, I found Figma to be more efficient and intuitive for prototyping and UI design, particularly when rapidly iterating on design concepts.

This project reinforced the importance of strategically selecting the right tool for the specific task at hand to maximize efficiency and achieve optimal design results.
